Bob Dylan is giving away a song from his latest album - but only for the next 24 hours!!

His latest album - ‘Together Through Life’ - won’t actually be released till April 27.

This is the first time Bob Dylan has ever given away one of his songs - so we are truly privileged, folks.

In mid 2008 Zune LA was born. With the kind of glam, pomp and that touch of irreverence (or is that just humor?) that Zune is getting known for, Zune LA hit the celebrity scene. And a quick look at some of the events that have been held there over the 9 months since it was launched confirms that the Zune “take” on entertainment is alive and kicking:

As long as Zune rubs elbows with celebs (specially music stars), we can relax in the certainty that more good stuff is going to end up in the Zune store and ultimately in our Zunes!

Don’t you just love the way Microsoft gets involved in music, sports, art etc! The way Microsoft supports the arts and sports is really cool! And they don’t just focus on one group, either. From the Latin Emmy’s in Vegas to the Telus World Ski & Snowboard Festival in Whistler, Microsoft/Zune is there in spades.

The latest promotion is pretty exciting - if you are a Canadian. Microsoft/Zune is looking to find Canada’s best, undiscovered band. (So if you are in a band and want to get discovered - here is your chance) The winning band gets to play live in front of 10,000 people during the Zune Concert Series in Whistler, BC. plus they will get introduced to some of the top reps, agents and producers in the Canadian music industry! Maybe we will see the Sam Bradley Band (local Vancouver band with some hot credentials as Sam Bradley co-wrote “Never Think” that Robert Pattinson sang in Twilight and has just returned from a recording do in Paris - see the following video of Sam Bradleys Band performing the song)

I hate to say it, but iPods are much more popular contest prizes! However, we were able to track down some current sweepstakes that give you the chance to get a new Zune for free.
