Free Movies for our Zune

We have been checking out ways to get movies onto our Zune.  As a http://blog.800hightech.com/wp-content/uploads/family-guy-microsoft-xbox-360.jpgresult we have been testing out some of the software that allows us to download movies to our Zune. There is quite a lot of software out now, that will do this. But we have found - having downloaded about a dozen different products and tried them out - that most are hard to use. Mainly because they give poor guidelines on how to use their software. Do software developers even think like the rest of us?

Well, we finally found a program that is literally click, click, click done! So we are gonna tell you about it. First up - they have a free version - which is the one we tested, and are reporting on.  It is free free. By that we mean that you never have to pay for the free version. It does not have a time limit on its use. What it does have is a watermark in the middle of the screen - which can be annoying, but otherwise its great. If that bothers you, well its pretty cheap to upgrade. A lot of the other products whose free version we trialed - had worse limits. Like having to click “continue” every 60 seconds, or only being able to do 2 minute cuts etc.

So I have just put Ocean’s Thirteen on my Zune  - we’ll cover how we got the file onto our laptop in the next blog post.

Free Zune Movies

But for now, using the free version of TransferMyVideo software, it was a case of clicking ‘browse’ to find the video file, clicking on the image provided in the software to choose Zune, clicking ’start converting’, and barely a few minutes later -  the video was ready to be synced to my Zune. It was GREAT! And it was free!!
